ODFW’s Salmon-Trout Enhancement Program is looking for volunteers to help identify and count trout redds. By monitoring redds we can evaluate numbers of spawning adults and evaluate spawning habitat. The survey begins at Fall River falls and ends downstream approximately 1 mile. New volunteers should first survey with an ODFW biologist or a trained volunteer.
